Current version

This page describes the current macOS development version of Blup. It will be checked against the final build before public release. Updated: October 18, 2026.

What stays on your Mac

Blup stores settings, selected apps, local counts of app switches, folder bookmarks and selected wireless devices on your Mac. The counts are used to suggest frequently used apps.

Permissions and quick actions

Blup requests system permissions for features you choose, such as calendars, reminders, Input Monitoring, Bluetooth or Location for Wi-Fi network names. Event and task details go to the calendar or list you select. Your chosen email app or webmail handles emails under its own policies.

Optional external services

The prepared Microsoft To Do integration uses Microsoft sign-in and Microsoft Graph to work with your chosen task list. It is not ready for public use yet. When connected, its token is stored in macOS Keychain; disconnecting in Blup removes the stored token. Purchases in a future App Store version will be handled by Apple.

Data transmission and control

The current Blup code has no advertising or analytics SDKs and no author-operated server collecting usage history. You can revoke permissions in macOS settings and disconnect external services. Removing Blup does not delete events, tasks or emails already created in your selected services. Contact support for help removing local settings.

Website and support

When you visit this site, the hosting service processes technical HTTP request data needed to deliver pages. These pages contain no analytics scripts. Information you send by email is used to respond to your request. Data questions: support@sagabook.org.
